Canteen Supervisors Meadowbank and Brush Farm
Eastwood Ryde Netball Association is inviting applications for two Canteen Supervisor positions at their Meadowbank Park and Brush Farm Netball Courts.
The Canteen Supervisor is responsible for the proper management of the Association canteen on match days and at other events and functions nominated by the Executive.
Order all food and drink items considered necessary to stock the canteen at the beginning of the season.
Ensure the canteen is regularly re-stocked throughout the season.
Supervise canteen volunteers as required and assist during busy periods.
Ensure that the correct food handling and hygiene practices are observed to prevent food spoilage and contamination.
Ensure all canteen workers including volunteers are familiar with correct food handling and hygiene practices.
Obtain, and account, for any floats and daily takings.
Be responsible for ensuring that any cleaning related to the main function of the canteen is carried out (eg dusting of shelves and stock, wiping down benches, cleaning of all equipment and fixtures).
Be responsible for security in the canteen such as money, keys, arming security alarms, locking all doors and windows, switching off all appliances (except refrigeration units) and restricting entry to the canteen to only those who are authorised to be there.
Keep the Canteen Committee informed of all relevant matters.
Be responsible for the health, safety and welfare of others in the canteen.
